As an orthodontist, I use my left brain 90% of the time. This is appropriate. The decisions about people's health and well being should be made based on science and facts, not on intuition. However, if you forget to listen to your right brain, you close yourself off from the inner voice that sees the big picture and presents possibilities that would otherwise be overlooked. Photography is my way of exercising my right brain, and amplifying the voice that allows me to believe, appreciate, and pursue the unknown.
